Our family has just returned from a stay at this amazing beach house and we can't stop talking about it! We felt like we were in our own private paradise! From the delicious, traditional Mexican dishes prepared with fresh local produce by Hector and Lumi, to the expansive, empty beach, to the perfect weather and spectacular sunsets, we were continually pinching ourselves to make sure it was real. The casa is designed so that it is open to the ocean and the beautiful breezes kept everything at the perfect temperature. The décor is modern and spacious and the casa has every possible convenience. The staff was friendly and very competent; everything was exceptionally clean and all our needs were taken care of. We hiked, biked, surfed in the waves, snorkeled at local coves and took long walks on the beach. It was so relaxing to float in the infinity pool and then to watch the sunset from the loft. The only way that we could bear to leave was because we knew we would be back! For the vacation of a lifetime, we would highly recommend the incredible experience of Casa Hola Ola."

What a wonderful, magical place. We went to Casa Hola Ola with two other families, for a total of 6 adults + 7 teenagers over Spring Break, and we all had a wonderful time. The house is amazing, right on the ocean with plenty of resting / hang-out spots for watching the whales, reading a book, taking a nap, or just chilling. Plenty of umbrellas to give you some shade too. We enjoyed lounging in the many couch options as well, including a chess board which we used a few times. We also took advantage of the ping pong table onsite, and the pickleball and paddle courts a short walk away and even shot a few hoops at the basketball court. We all enjoyed swinging in the hammocks in the upper deck area and did yoga up there a few times too. The pool was a perfect temp, and a nice configuration for swimming laps and tossing a football around, plus even some shade by the bar area. The beds were comfy, and the AC worked wonderfully in the evenings. The staff was amazing! They catered to our every need, including making lots of fresh fruit smoothies for the kids. The food was awesome, super-fresh and very tasty dishes. Hector was fantastic; going to the grocery store to refresh our stash of ice cream for the kids, organizing rides to downtown Zicatela for some shopping, and arranging for ATVs for a few days to ride up and down the beach. Bonus, we found a hotel beachside bar about a 10-minute walk away which was a nice change of scenery and had some lovely cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, the staff was kind enough to make us some yummy drinks as well; the frozen mango margaritas with Tahin were a crowd favorite. Muriel did a great job organizing the food selections and airport transportation too; all we had to do was show up. I would highly recommend Casa Hola Ola and would definitely stay there again.
